Entry Terms Registry entry

Specify which columns use the Thesaurus and what their entry terms are.

Description

This entry provides a way of defining the use of a thesaural sub-tree with a column.

Usage

This Registry entry can be assigned to users and groups:

Key User User Group Group Group Group
Key 1 User User Group Group Group Group
Key 2 user user group group Default Default
Key 3 Table Table Table Table Table Table
Key 4 table Default table Default table Default
Key 5 Entry Terms
Key 6 column
Value term:acronym;term:acronym;...

where:

column

is the name of the affected column.

term:acronym;term:acronym;....

is a semicolon separated list of term and acronym pairs (separated by a colon).

Each pair defines an entry point into a particular Thesaurus. This means that valid terms for selection from a Thesaurus for the specified column are defined to be the term itself and any term in its sub-tree.

If no term:acronym pairs are defined, any term from the Thesaurus is valid for the column.

Note: This Registry entry is required for every column that does not wish to use the entire Thesaurus.
